Catching Up With Chrissabella in Tabitha Webb
Tabitha Webb interviews Christina Hauck
Chrissabella is the creation of Christina Hauck, a German fashion and lifestyle blogger with impeccable taste and hair that is always on point. Here she beautifully styles the Tabitha Webb Theodore dress for a day in London.
We particularly like the addition of a cool pink oversized clutch; experimentation with colour is what we are about!
We caught up with Christina about her blog, favourite trends and being a flat shoe girl at heart... (oh, and a quick shout out to KombuchaWOW for our bottles of booch on the day - lush!)
TABITHA WEBB: How do you describe your style?
Christina Hauck: It’s a mix of classic and casual pieces – I’m always drawn to bold prints and colours.
TABITHA WEBB: How did you get into fashion blogging?
CH: I’ve enjoyed reading fashion and beauty blogs for a long time and one day I just thought I’ll give it a go myself.
TABITHA WEBB: How did you come up with the name Chrissabella?
CH: It’s been a nickname since my childhood.
TABITHA WEBB: How does your blog influence what you wear?
CH: It definitely has made me more adventurous, trying different styles and trends.
TABITHA WEBB: What are your fail-safe tips that you can share with us?
CH: I find the best fail-safe tip is to learn your own personal style; what colours and cuts work best for you. I’ve always been a bit of a clothes hoarder but in recent years I’ve come to understand the meaning of 'less is more'. I’ll try to only buy a few pieces per season but to make them count.
TABITHA WEBB: What were your must-have items for AW15?
CH: My must-have items for AW15 are a great pair of biker boots and a well-tailored long coat.
TABITHA WEBB: How important is a statement dress to your wardrobe?
CH: The statement dress is one of the core pieces in my wardrobe. I love how the perfect dress can make you look polished in an instant. The Theodore dress was love at first sight – I adore the gorgeous colour pattern and feminine fit.
TABITHA WEBB: How do you accessorise dresses for day and for evening?
CH: I love to add a pop of colour to my outfits with a fun clutch and dainty jewellery. At night I like to add statement jewellery and heels.
TABITHA WEBB: What trends are you seeing for SS16 that you are looking forward to?
CH: I can’t wait to embrace the Victoriana trend of ruffled blouses and high necklines. I’m a flat-shoes girl at heart and I’m really happy to see that flats and slip-ons are here to stay.
TABITHA WEBB: What’s next for you and your blog?
CH: Last year was a very exciting and busy year for my blog and I hope it continues. I also want to redesign my blog page and make it more personal.
